The sober reality of yesterday’s fire was very obvious this morning and it was very moving to have all staff and the Senior School students return today. Our briefings with them this morning went very well. Today, structural and risk inspections are being undertaken in the affected area and, latter these evaluations, we will know what is required to make the whole Middle School area safe. Based on the preliminary feedback, we have been advised that there are important make safe’ actions to occur over the following scanty days. We grasp this will disrupt the plans of many parents and we apologies for the inconvenience. We will bear a further update to all Glen Waverley parents by the end of the day.
