The Recovery Foundation is a Not For Profit, and then, Fully Tax Exempt and Charitable Organisation which will assist people into recovery from addiction, to help them stay in recovery. He has also worked closely with Hazelden, the world leaders in research and treatment in the USA. George has also worked with counselors from The Betty Ford Center, and encourages exchanges with counselors between treatment centres. He was the Program Director of the Warburton Drug and Alcohol Unit for most of the 1990’s and during that time he developed a program of international standing with clients not only in this country but from overseas as well. With nearly two decades of experience in the drug and alcohol field, George comes with a very broad experience of the profession. Our Program Director it George Thompson. As well as the addiction treatment program, and recovery houses - affordable, we offer drug and alcohol counseling, safe and supportive places to live drug and alcohol free. We are located in North Road Ormond in Melbourne, close to the Ormond railway station. The addiction treatment program is delivered by qualified program staff with years of experience in addiction treatment. This is followed by ongoing weekly contact sessions and support.
